Night become hot again and day was normal in Kashmir
Srinagar, Aug 2 (UNI) The night temperatures rose while the day temperature was near normal in the summer capital of the Jammu and Kashmir.
A spokesman of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) here told UNI the minimum temperature recorded last night was 21.2 degrees Celsius about a degree more than normal.
The maximum temperature was 28.2 degrees Celsius which was near normal.
He said heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the state during the next 48 hours.
He also predicted heavy rainfall at a few places in the valley, particularly on Baltal-Amarnath and Pahalgam- Amarnath routes where the two-month-long pilgrimage is on since June 11.
