Nagaland Peace Centre welcomes truce extension

Kohima, Aug 2: Nagaland Peace Centre (NPC), founded by Jayprakash Narayan in 1965, has welcomed the extension of cease-fire between the Centre and the National Social Council of Nagalim (NSCN-IM) for a period of one year.

In a release here today NPC Chairman N Theyo and Executive Director Lhusi Haralu hoped that something concrete will emerge during this extension period of cease-fire.

The NPC also urge the Centre and the NSCN-IM to honour the terms of cease-fire agreement in letter and spirit.
