Nagaland is a land of opportunities: Rio

Kohima, Aug 2: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has described the state as a land of opportunities.

He said the government has lots of dream plans for the people, particularly youth and urged upon the younger generation to wisely seek and pursue the opportunities to be successful.

Speaking as the Chief Guest during the inaugural function of 'Lady Bug Toy Production Unit', near here yesterday Rio also asserted that the government is ever ready and willing to assist the youth.

Referring to Democratic Alliance of Nagaland(DAN) government's concern for the Naga youth, he stated that the various programme of the government have made it possible for many Naga youths to be trained in various fields and are now successfully engaged in various service sectors.

He further appealed to the people to increase local production thereby learning the art of business and quality control.

The Programme was also attended by Nagaland Transport Minister Imtilemba Sangtam and Nagaland Chief Secretary Lalhuma.
