Minor fire at industrial unit, 3 hurt
Mumbai, Aug 2 (UNI) Three persons suffered burn injuries while extinguishing a fire that broke out at their workplace at the Hansa Industrial Estate at Saki Naka here this afternoon.
Fire brigade sources said the fire broke out around 1440 hours when the workers were engaged in a paint mixing work. Sparking led to the fire, sources said.
Owner of the unit, Saurobh Kothari (45), and two employees Imtiaz Ali (20) and Agat Purvi Singh (19) were injured while trying to extinguish the fire.
All the injured have been admitted to the Rajawadi Hospital at Ghatkopar. The extent of damage due to the fire is yet to be ascertained.
