Mindteck Q1 FY07 net up 436%

New Delhi, Aug 2 (UNI) Mindteck (India) Ltd today posted an impressive 436 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 2.09 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2006, against Rs 0.39 crore during the same quarter last year.

The company's revenue in the first quarter was Rs 27.48 crore, as compared to Rs 8.34 crore last fiscal. EPS for the quarter registered a growth of 412 per cent rising from Rs 0.41 per share to Rs 2.10 per share.

''The consolidated results for the first quarter incorporate the results of ISS Consultants, company acquired by Mindteck US and is a validation of our strategy of augmenting organic growth with profitable acquisitions,'' company's Group CEO P A Ananthanarayanan said.

Mindteck provides a broad range of business and technology solutions including embedded system services, enterprise consulting services and IT consulting services.
