Market panel chiefs plea to CM

Hyderabd, Aug 2 (UNI) Chiefs of the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Market Committees today urged Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy to take steps to invite them to the conferences in local bodies in the state.

In a memorandum to the Chief Minister, they said though the funds of the market committee were utilised for developmental activities taken up by the local bodies and the government, they were not invited for the meetings.

They said the committees in the state had been playing an important role in developmental activities of the government.

They urged the Chief Minister to issue necessary instructions for their representation at the meetings.
