Labourers killed during road laying work

Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, Aug 2 (UNI) Two labourers were killed as earth caved in during road laying work this evening.

Police said Perumal (34) and Manigandan (24) were engaged in road construction work when the earth caved in killing them, at Emather in the district.

Their co-workers Kumar (30) and Chakravarthy (28) were injured and rushed to the government hospital here.
