Katiyar meets Dwraka Shankaracharya on Ramjanmabhoomi issue

Jaipur, Aug 2 (UNI) BJP general secretary Vinay Katiyar said the Ramjanmabhoomi is a life and death issue for the BJP and he had sought 'guidance' from the Dwraka and Jyothishpeeth Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand on the issue during a meeting with him today.

The meeting is considered important in the light of the fact that the Shankaracharya had differences with the VHP on the ram temple movement spearheaded by it earlier.

The Shankaracharya is camping in Jaipur for the Chaturmas.

When asked about the reported difference of the Shankaracharya with the VHP, Mr Katiyar parried the question by saying there was no difference of the end ''(constrcution of Ram temple)''.
