Jammu lawyers indefinite strike enters day 36

Jammu, Aug 2 (UNI) The indefinite strike of lawyers, demanding transfer of cases relating to high profile sex scandal in Kashmir valley, continued for the 36th day today.

Lawyers of Bar Association Jammu and the other five districts of Jammu divisions, remained present in the court but did not participate in the court proceedings.

The lawyers started an indefinite strike on June 28 against denial of right of defence, besides threat issued to lawyers in Srinagar while representing their clients.
