HC commutes death sentence to life imprisonment

New Delhi, Aug 2 (UNI) The Delhi High Court today commuted an award of death sentence to life imprisonment.

The division bench of Justices RS Sodhi and PK Bhasin ordered today that death sentence awarded to Sushil Kumar would be commuted to life imprisonment.

The order follows the cardinal principle of life imprisonment as a rule and death sentence in rarest of rare cases.
