Flight returns after takeoff
Kolkata, Aug 2 (UNI) A Dibrugarh-bound flight of national airlines ''Indian'' returned to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International (NSCBI) airport soon after take-off this morning following a techinal fault in the aircraft, an airport source said.
The flight, however, resumed its journey with 105 passengers later in the afternoon after the defect was repaired.
Meanwhile, a Gulf Air flight from here was cancelled after a small crack was noticed in a cockpit window of the plane.
An airport official stated that passengers had boarded the aircraft when the crack was discovered.
The flight would be operated tommorow, it was learnt.
