Field Marshal Manekshaw resigns from Indian Charge board

New Delhi, Aug 2 (UNI) Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw has resigned from the post of Director of Indian Charge Chrome Ltd (ICCL), the company said today.

''Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, Director of the company has resigned from the Board with effect from July 3, 2006, which was taken note of by the Board of Directors at their meeting,'' a company statement said.

Located in Orissa, ICCL is a part of the Indian Metals&Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA) group, which is a fully integrated producer of ferro alloys with 130 MVA installed furnace capacity, a 108 MW coal-based captive power plant and extensive chrome ore mining tracts.
