Bangalore, Aug 2: Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly N Dharam Singh today criticised the JD(S)-BJP coalition Government in the State of having failed on all fronts, besides creating confusion among students and farmers.

Talking to reporters here, he said the Government had gone back on its assurance on the floor of the House to subsidise fees for professional courses, amounting to breach of privilege. ''The Govenment is playing with the lives of students,'' he added.

The Government was not implementing crop loan at four per cent interest, Mr Singh alleged, adding that no Minister or higher officials had visited the flood-hit areas of North Karnataka.

Stating that the coalition partners lacked coordination, he asked the Government to place before the public what measures it had taken for their benefit in the last six months.

Mr Singh said the Congress would boycott the judicial inquiry ordered into illegal mining activities in the State if the Government did not include the Rs 150 crore bribery charge against Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.

He termed a fact, the latest allegation by former Minister D K Shivakumar that Mr Kumaraswamy's family members had purchased a Rs 85 crore worth buildiing soon after becoming the Chief Minister.
