Delhi VHP-Bajrang Dal workers to visit Poonch

New Delhi, Aug 2 (UNI) Scores of VHP-Bajrang Dal workers from Delhi will visit Poonch district of Jammu division between August 4-8 to defy a ban on certain slogans, officially deemed provocative in the insurgency-wracked region, a spokesman for the organisation said.

The ''yatra'' would be led by VHP Joint General Secretary Satyendra Mohan and state Bajrang Dal Convenor Ashok Kapoor, VHP state media chief Vinod Bansal informed.

He said the VHP-Bajrang Dal would defy the ban on the shouting of ''Vandemataram'' and ''Bharat Mata Ki Jai'' in the district so as to lift the morale of the people.
