Dalbir Kaur sends Rakhis to Sarabajit, Musharraf

Amritsar, Aug 2: Dalbir Kaur, sister of Sarabjit Singh, who is facing death sentence in Pakistan on charges of spying, sent a set of Rakhis to her brother on the auspicious day of 'Raksha Bandhan'.

She also sent another set of Rakhis to Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf with an appeal to pardon Sarabjit Singh and consider his release on humanitiran grounds.

Sarabjit Singh is at present lodged in Kot Lakhpat jail at Lahore.

Dalbir Kaur had mailed Rakhis to Pakistan High Commissioner at New Delhi last evening for onward dispatch to Sarabjit Singh and President Pervez Mushrraf.
