Avery India becomes susidiary of A V Acquisition

New Delhi, Aug 2 (UNI) Following the acquisition of UK's Avery Weigh-Tronix Holdings, by A V Acquisition Co 3, Avery India today said it has become the subsidiary of the company.

''The acquisition by A V Acquisition Co.3 Ltd has resulted in an indirect acquisition of equity shares in and control over subsidiaries of Avery Weigh-Tronix Holdings Ltd, UK including the company,'' a company statement said.

Avery Weigh-Tronix Holdings Ltd, UK through its subsidiary, Avery Berkel Holdings Ltd, UK holds 53.44 per cent in the company.

Subsequent to a share purchase agreement between A V Acquisition Co.3 Ltd and Avery Weigh-Tronix Inc, A V Acquisition Co.3 Ltd acquired 100 per cent of Avery Weigh-Tronix Holdings Ltd.
