At least seven civilians killed in Israeli strike

BAALBEK, Lebanon, Aug 2 (Reuters) At least seven civilians were killed in an Israeli air strike on a village near the eastern city of Baalbek today, security sources said.

They said warplanes bombarded the village of Jammaliyeh during clashes nearby between Israeli airborne commandos and Hizbollah guerrillas, destroying several houses.

They said five, members of the same family, were found dead in one house. Two more were found dead in another collapsed house.
