Arundhuti's body sent to Bankura for post-mortem
Purulia, Aug 2 (UNI) Jadavpur University's student Arundhuti Ghosh's body was today taken to Bankura Samelani Maedical College for post-mortem.
A highly decomposed body of Arundhati Ghosh, an M-Pharma student arrived in Purulia Sadar Deven Mahato Hospital from Bagmundi last night for postmortem.
But due to lack of infrastructure in Purulia Hospital, Superintendent of Purulia Hospital Dr Swapan Sarkar referred for postmortem to Bankura Sammelani Medical College Hospital today.
The family left with the body for Bankura at 1100 hrs.
Her body was found in a decomposed condition from Kudna village in Dowry canal under the Purulia district today. It was identified by the family members, who were moving along with the search party, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Satyanarayan Bandopadhyay told reporters here today.
Five JU students, including two girl students, on trekking expedition went missing from Bagmundi in Purulia district on Friday.
Bodies of Swati Das and Subhankar Saha were recovered on Saturday.
Two other youths Bappaditya Chatterjee and Kaushik Serkel were also rescued.
