Arrest warrants against Dabur chief, four others

Shajapur, MP, Aug 2 (UNI) A court has issued arrest warrants against five accused, including chairman of Dabur India Limited and Burman Laboratories here.

Hearing a complaint of container manufacturer Ajay Saraf, Additional District and Sessions Judge Sunita Srivastava has directed to produce the accused in the court by August 26.

According to prosecution, Dabur Ltd and Burman Laboratories had signed a contract with Mr Saraf for providing containers of 'Lal Dant Manjan' in 1991.

However, the companies breached the contract and stopped purchasing containers from Mr Sarraf in 1998.

The complainant approached the court. The Chief Judicial Magistrate thrice directed Dabur India Ltd Chairman Rahul Burman, Ashok Burman, C M Saxena, Dasgupta and M Narang to produce before the court during the past eight years.

On July 31, Judge Srivastava issued arrest warrant for contempt of court and directed to produce the five accused before the court by August 26.
