Airtel unveils 'Youth Card' for pre-paid customers

New Delhi, Aug 2: Airtel, India's leading mobile service provider today unveiled its 'Youth Card' for pre-paid customers in Delhi at a cost of Rs 149, including services like night calling tariff at 10 paise/min, all local SMSs at 25p.

The card offers 3000 local Airtel to Airtel SMS free, (valid for first 3 months only), and day tariff lower by 50 per cent from its regular tariff.

''The Youth card is another innovative offering from Airtel and its introduction has been based on extensive customer research, which has helped us understand the requirements of the young mobile population wanting to go mobile in Delhi. We are sure that such offerings will open up new segments in the market,'' Bharti Airtel Limited Delhi Circle (Mobility) CEO Christopher Tobit said.

Besides, Youth card customers can avail the A R Rehman Airtel signature tune as free Hello Tunes during the first month as a special offer from Airtel.

The Pre-paid card for Rs 149 will be available at all leading Airtel outlets across the city and can be purchased by students after providing necessary documents.

Bharti Airtel Limited provides telephone services and Internet access over DSL in 90 cities.
