Tight security for ongoing 'Shrawan Jhula Mela'
Ayodhya, Aug 1 (UNI) Security has been beefed up at the disputed Ram Janmabhoomi site in view of large number of devotees congregating in the temple town for the ongoing famous 'Shrawan Jhula Mela'.
Police Superintendent B D Shukla said here today, the strength of police personnel at the site had been tripled, apart from deployment of intelligence sleuths.
Barricades have been erected around other temples including Hanumangarhi, Kanak Bhawan and Nageshwar Nath to allow easy 'darshan' of the presiding deities to devotees.
Vehicles entering Faizabad district limits are being duly registered at police checkposts.
The railway station, bus terminals, hotels and dormitories are being strictly monitored.
Meanwhile, the makeshift 'Ramlala' temple is attracting swarms of devouts from far and wide.
