Student consumes tablets, dies

Tirupati, Aug 1 (UNI) A first year intermediate student today died at the Government Ruia Hospital where he was admitted on July 30 after consuming some tablets.

According to police here, Dharmendra Reddy (17) of Kadapa joined the Sri Chaitanya College here about 45 days back.

Reddy consumed the tablets after returning from his native place.

He was rushed to the hospital and the end came this morning.

The exact reason for Reddy taking the extreme step was yet to be known, they added.
