Senior journalist gets Sevashri award

Akola, Aug 1 (UNI) A senior journalist in the city Mr Pannalal Sharma has been awarded the 11th Sevashri Award in the memory of late Vidarbha Kesari Brajlal Biyani, in a glittering ceremoy held at Khandelwal Bhavan here last night.

The award is constituted by the Quick Ad family, headed by Satyanarayan Randad. Sharma was presented a shawl, coconut and a cash prize of Rs 1,001 at the hands of chief guest Dr Prithvisinh Rajput.

Mr Sharma donated Rs 1,501 to Drushti Dan Yadnya of Sevashraya organisation.
