Prisoner escapes from hospital

Jamtara, Aug 1 (UNI) An accused in a murder case, admitted to a hospital last night, fled early this morning.

Police said 23-year-old Rehman Mia was in prison since August 2004 in a murder case in Narayanpur area of the district.

He was admitted to the Sadar hospital, last night, after complaining of stomach pain but fled from there at about 0300 hours, duping three policemen deputed for his vigilance.
