Pre-Departure Orientation for Indian students to US

New Delhi, Aug 1 (UNI) United States Educational Foundation in India (USEFI) will organise a pre-departure orientation programme on Friday for Indian students joining American universities this year.

The full-day programme is aimed at equipping students with a better understanding of the American academic environment, society, culture and tips for living in the US, USEFI said.

Information on travel and port of entry formalities at arrival in the US will also be given to the students, it added.

The orientation programme will be held at the American Centre.

There will also be group discussions with consular officers of the US Embassy, Fulbright scholars, American university graduates and continuing students.
