PowerDsine Ltd opens its new office in Mumbai

Mumbai, Aug 1 (UNI) PowerDsine Ltd. (NASDAQ: PDSN), a pioneer in Power over Ethernet (PoE) solutions announced today the official opening of its new office in Mumbai.

The new office enables PowerDsine to serve customers in India and provide them with direct access to its Power over Ethernet products, technical and marketing staff along with localized support.

PoE is a unique concept that allows the transmission of both data and power across the network through only one cable. The transmission rate can scale up to 12.95 watts (load end) over Ethernet cable as described by Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) standard 802.3af.
