Power situation in Delhi remains satisfactory

New Delhi, Aug 1 (UNI) The power situation in Delhi continued to remain satisfactory with the discoms being able to successfully meet the 3210 MW power demand.

Further, there was no loadshedding in any area of Delhi, official sources said.

The overall power situation has remained satisfactory through out the last week following the capital recieving the heaviest spell of monsoon rains.

Yesterday too, the discoms were able to meet the 3400 MW peak time power demand with just half an hour of loadshedding of around 55 MW effected in a few localities to maintain the grid discipline.
