Naxal leader surrenders before Medak SP
Medak, Andhra Pradesh, Aug 1 (UNI) A naxal leader belonging to CPI(Maoist) Party today surrendered before Medak Superintendent of Police.
Mallesham, joined the movement in 2002, and later became Commander of Girayipally Dalam and Girayipally forest area action committee leader.
He was involved in five murders including attack on a sub-inspector and other offences. The police department also wrote to the state government to fix a reward of Rs 2 lakh on his head.
Vexed with party ideology and Maoists losing public support, Mallesham surrendered before Medak SP Sunil Kumar.
