Letter threatens Maudhany's doctor to stop treatment
Coimbatore, Aug 1 (UNI) The Coimbatore Aryavaidhya Hospital chief Raveendran who was treating the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Abdul Nasser Maudhany, one of the accused in Coimbatore serial bomb blasts case, received a threatening letter yesterday asking him to stop the treatment immediately.
The letter addressed to Dr Raveendran was written in Malayalam.
It threatened to face serious consequences if he continued the treatment.
Talking to UNI, Dr Raveendran said on the request of the prison authorities, he was treating the PDP leader from July five on Diabetics, Hypertension and back pain.
The City Police Commissioner Karan Sinha was informed of the intimidating letter and an investigation was underway.
However, Dr Ravindran has affirmed that he would continue with the treatment.
