DGP directs for control on immoral trade

Lucknow, Agu 1 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Bua Singh instructed district police chiefs to control the immoral trade of young girls and women.

In his instruction to SSPs/SPs yesterday, Mr Singh said it had been reported by various voluntary organisations, that the illicit trade was going on unabated, especially in areas along the Indo-Nepal border.

The DGP has asked for strict action under the provisions of the relevant Act.
