Rajgarh (MP), Aug 1(UNI) Major Deobrat Singh Khinchi, posted on special duty in Ethiopia on a peace keeping mission, died there yesterday following brain haemorrhage.

He was 35.

The scion of the erstwhile Khilchipur royal family is survived by his wife and a daughter, who were with him.

His younger brother and Congress MLA Priyabrat Singh Khinchi left for Ethiopia yesterday to bring the body for final rites at Khilchipur tomorrow, family sources said.

Major Deobrat Khinchi was annointed heir to the royal family following the death of his father Bharatendra Singh 15 years ago.
