Cloudy sky with no rains increases humidity

Kolkata, Aug 1 (UNI) Despite some bouts of showers in the city since the last few days, the citizens did not experience any respite as the overcast sky led to the rise in the humidity level.

The relative humidity was 97 per cent making the day quite uncomfortable, met officials said.

The maximum temperature recorded was 30 degree Celsius, whereas the minimum was 25 degree Celsius.

The met office have forecast more spells of rain during the evening and night hours.
