CITU workers burn GO 5 copies against privatisation

Tirupati, Aug 1 (UNI) Activists of Centre for Indian Trade Union (CITU) burned copies of Government Order (GO) 5 near Ambedkar Statue here today.

As many as 100 CITU members, who resorted to the protest, demanded that the government should immediately withdraw the GO 5, drop its plan to privatise the Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and retrenchment of employees.

They also raised slogans against the State Government and alleged that the Government was following the anti-worker policies of the previous TDP Government.
