Central Railways clinches title
Jamtara, Aug 1 (UNI) Central Railways today defeated Western Railways by 5-4 in the hardfought final of 63rd All India Railways football championship.
Both the teams could not score a goal in the stipulated 90 minutes and the extra-time was given thereafter.
Later, the match was decided through a penalty shoot out in which the CR edged WR out by 5-4. In all 24 teams divided in eight pools, participated in the championship played on the Chitranjan rail engine factory ground.
