Brawl ends in murder of two students

Hyderabad, July 31 (UNI) A brawl over consuming liquor led to the murder of two students of Hotel Management Institute today.

Sanjay Giri (21) of Uttar Pradesh and Sanoy Cherian (22) of Delhi, are third year students of Hotel Management Institute on Shivam Road. They had a quarrel with a first year student Naveen Kumar of the same college over consuming liquor. Naveen was in the habit of consuming liquor and bothering seniors. Today they had a scuffle in TRT Quarters where they used to reside, according to police.

Later, Naveen with the help of his friends. attacked Sanjay Giri and Sanoy Cherian with cutlery. Naveen inflicted stab injuries on the duo and fled from the scene, the police added.

Sanjay and Sanoy were declared dead when they were taken to a nearby hospital.

The police are on the look out for Naveen.
