377 leave for Amarnath, 325 for Buddha Amarnath

Jammu, Aug 1 (UNI) A fresh batch of 377 pilgrims today left for the darshan of 'ice Shivalingam' at the holy cave shrine in the Himalayas of Jammu and Kashmir.

Official sources said the batch, amidst the chanting of religious hyms and slogans, was given a flag off at MA stadium.

Sources said the fleet of the pilgrims left by nine buses and one light motor vehicle under tight security arrangements.

Another batch of 325 pilgrims, comprising 314 male and 11 female, also left for Buddha Amarnath pilgrimage situated at the border district of Poonch.
