War will end when rocket threat is removed: Olmert

JERUSALEM, July 31 (Reuters) Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said today the war in Lebanon would not end until Hizbollah's rocket threat is removed and captured Israeli soldiers are freed.

''We will stop the war when the (rocket) threat is removed..., our captive soldiers return home in peace, and you are able to live in safety and security,'' Olmert said in an address to mayors of northern Israeli towns.
