Vora new Bengal DGP

Kolkata, Jul 31 (UNI) Mr Anup Bhushan Vora today took over as the new Director General of Police of West Bengal.

Mr Vora assumed office suceeding Mr Subhash Awasthi, whose tenure ended today with his retirement.

Speaking to reporters at the state Secretariat, the new DGP said maintaining law and order and containing the Maoist threat was his priority.
