Two terrorists including commander killed in Poonch

Jammu, July 31 (UNI) The security forces gunned down two terrorists including a commander of pakistan based outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba(LeT) in two seperate encounters, which still continues, in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir this evening, army sources said here.

Sources, talking to uni, said the troops started operations in two separate locations in Sanjiot and Surankote areas this afternoon after getting information about the presence of militants there.

The operation was still continued when last report came in. A top commander of Lashkar was killed in the operation at Sanjiot. The slain militant was identified as Alliyas Wahid, very active member of let in the region.

A second operation, which being carried out at Surankote, one is terrorist killed so far. Since the operation is still continue therefore the slain militant is yet to be identified.

Arms and amunition have been recovered from the possession of slain militants including two AK rifles and radio networkings.
