Two more Labour Courts at Faridabad, Gurgaon
Chandigarh, July 31 (UNI) The Haryana government has decided to set up two more Labour Courts at Faridabad and Gurgaon, raising their number to nine so as to speed up the disposal of cases pertaining to disputes.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Labour Department said that 3065 industrial disputes had been disposed off by the Labour Courts-cum-Industrial Tribunal from January this year to June 30. He said that apart from this, 805 applications were disposed off during the same period.
He said that under the state Labour Policy of this year, the government had decided to tackle and settle cases in the early stages so as to avoid burdening of Labour Courts.
