Ten injured in Srinagar blast
Srinagar, July 31 (UNI) At least ten people were injured in a grenade blast at a crowded general bus stand in Batmaloo this afternoon, official sources said.
A report, however, said Amarnath pilgrims were the target.
Sources said militants hurled a hand grenade at a bus stand in Batmaloo this afternoon at 1445 hours. It exploded on the roadside cinjuring ten people. The injured were hospitalised.
This is the first attack in the city after police claimed to have arrested Mudasir and Bengali, who masterminded a series of grenade attacks on tourists early this month.
