Springer launches eBook programme
Bangalore, July 31 (UNI) Springer, one of the leading international publishing companies of scientific literature, has launched a comprehensive digitised book collection to give a boost to scientific research in the country.
Researchers and students across the country would have access to more than 10,000 books in electronic format, according to a company release here today.
Springer India Managing Director Sanjiv Goswamy said the Indian research community would be provided with direct access to updated global scientific research. ''The eBooks integrate seamlessly into our upgraded website SpringerLink, making it possible for users to easily search through journal articles and eBook chapters.'' The eBooks, available in both PDF and HTML formats, were fully searchable and could be downloaded and printed. About 3,000 new eBooks would be published and made available every year.
