Rupee opens strong by 14 paise at Rs 46.54 per USD

Mumbai, July 31: The rupee today opened strong by 14 paise at Rs 46.54 per US dollar as compared to the previous close of Rs 46.68 per USD, a trader in the money market said.

In the mid-morning trade, the domestic currency was trading at Rs 46.50 per USD.

However, the stock market opened in the green on global rally and is currently trading at 10,808 points, up by 128 points from the previous close.
