Road improvement works in Rajasthan approved

New Delhi, Jul 31 (UNI) The Centre has approved 31 road improvement works on various stretches on National Highways in Rajasthan at an estimated excpenditure of Rs. 51.53 crore.

The decison was taken by Shipping, Road Transport and Highways Minister T. R. Baalu following a representation from the state government.

The major works of improvement, to be carried out on National Highway No. 8. 11, 12 , 14, 65 and 89, would include hard shoulders, centre line markings and traffic signs, the ministry said in statement here today.
