Record cargo handling in VPT

Visakhapatnam, Jul 31 (UNI) A record quantity of 6,563 tonne of coated steel pipes was discharged from merchant vessel 'M V Sibulk integrity' at EQ-1 Berth in Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT), establishing an all time record in unloading carbon coated steel pipes bulk in a day.

VPT spokesperson today said that it surpassed the previous record of 5,637 tonne discharged from merchant vessel "M V Sibulk" on July 10 this year.

The cargo was imported by Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Ltd.
