Major police reshuffle in Punjab

Chandigarh, Jul 31 (UNI) In a major police reshuffle, Punjab government today transferred 31 IPS and PPS officers with immidiate effect.

According to official release, Jitendra Kumar Jain, Commandant 75th Battalion PAP, Jalandhar was given the charge of Superintendent, Central Jail, Ludhiana in addition to present posting.

Similarly, Mrs Vibhu Raj, Commandant of 27th Battalion PAP, Jalandhar was given the additional charge of Deputy Director Punjab Police Academy, Phillaur.
