KFCL posts 126% rise in operating profits to Rs 8.64 crore

New Delhi, July 31 (UNI) Khaitan Chemicals and Fertilisers, the largest manufacturer in the SSP Industry, today announced an increase of 126 per cent in operating profits to Rs 8.64 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006 from Rs 3.83 crore recorded for the first quarter of the previous year.

The Comapany's turnover and other income has increased by 25 per cent to Rs 60.86 crore for the first quarter of 2006 as compared to Rs 48.8 crore posted for the same quarter last year.

Expressing satisfaction over the company's performance Chairman, Shailesh Khaitan, informed that the entity has acquired in a sister concern another solvent extraction plant with capacity of 2,40,000 TPA in Madhya Pradesh.
