Jammu lawyers indefinite strike enters 34 day
Jammu, July 31 (uni) The indefinite strike by lawyers demanding transfer of cases relating to high profile sex scandal that rocked the Kashmir valley, entered the 34th day today.
Meanwhile the judicial work in local bench of Jammu and kashmir High Court and other lower courts here have remained paralysed today due to strike.
Lawyers of bar association Jammu (BAJ) and the other five districts of Jammu divisions, were present in the court proceedings, but did not participate.
The lawyers have announced the strike will go on till the association's demands of transfer of cases of the sex-scandal for a fair trial are not met.
The lawyers started an indefinite strike on june 28 against the denial of right of defence and threat to lawyers in srinagar, while representing their clients.
