IVRCL registers 44.32 per cent growth in Q1

Hyderabad, July 31 (UNI) IVRCL Infrastructures and Projects Limited has achieved a gross income of Rs 4340 million in first quarter 2006 as against Rs 3007 million during the corresponding quarter of the previous year, registering a growth rate of 44.32 per cent.

The consolidated turnover achieved by IVRCL group was Rs 4682 million, a company release here said today.

The earnings before interest, depreciation and Tax(EBIDT) has increased from Rs 243 million to Rs 375 million recording a growth rate of 54.3 per cent.

The net profit increased from Rs 165 million to Rs 217 million recording an increase of 31.5 per cent after absorbing a notional charge of Rs 50 million towards foreign exchange loss on outstanding foreign currency convertible bonds as on June 30 this year.

The basic earnings per share increased from Rs 1.62 per share of Rs two each to Rs 2.01 per share of Rs two each, the release added.
