International Seminar on IPR begins from Aug 2

Kottayam, July 31 (UNI) An international seminar on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) will be held under the auspices of the School of International Relations and Politics of the Mahatma Gandhi University here from August two to four.

At a news conference here today, School Director Raju K Thedikkaran said distinguished economist Prabhat Patnaik would inaugurate the seminar.

Mr Gustavo Ghidini (Rome) would deliver the keynote address.

Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan would inaugurate the valedictory session. Social activist Vandana Shiva would deliver the valedictory address.

Thirty-five special invitees and resource persons would attend the seminar, he said.
